Since opening 2012, Ore Dock Brewing Company has recognized their privilege in operating in one of the world’s most abundantly natural-resourced regions. Their beer, seltzer, and soda is proudly made with water from Lake Superior, one of our planet’s largest sources of freshwater. To acknowledge this privilege, they work to steward these resources and create a better place for future generations.
Their conservation efforts include a closed-loop system for their CLT water (the water used to cool the beer during the brewing process) as well as fundraising efforts for watershed programs and native preservation initiatives.
Ore Dock hopes that this is just the beginning of their sustainability journey and looks forward to intentional and humble growth through LEED certification and alternative energy in future building plans.
